Julia sang in the Kennedy Center Honors Hamilton Tribute featuring Christopher Jackson & Lin-Manuel Miranda in 2018. Ravenscroft was later a finalist in the D.C. CAPital Stars competition, where she performed a solo, “Don’t Rain on my Parade”, at the Kennedy Center for a panel of judges including Denyce Graves. She has since found a home in Chicago, particularly in the fringe theatre scene, having performed in three original musicals, including the titular role of Gordon Gordon. She can be seen singing “Take Me or Leave Me” in Idina Menzel’s documentary Which way to the stage? (2023).
Julia graduated with an Acting B.F.A. and playwriting minor from Columbia College Chicago in 2023, including six-months in London at the University of Greenwich as part of their drama studies program.
